How to play

  1. Get rid of all your cards.

    First one out wins.

  2. Play the same or higher.

    A 9 beats a 7.

  3. Can't beat it? Pick up the pile.

Every card in it goes into your hand.

  4. Magic cards break the rules.

Burn wipes out the pile. You go again.

  5. Four more magic cards.

    • 5 The next player must go 5 or lower. One turn only.
    • Invisible See-through. Play to the card underneath it.
    • Kameno Pick who picks up the pile. You go again.
    • Chill Back to zero. The next player can lay anything.
  6. Your last six cards wait on the table.

When your hand runs out, play the three face up. Then the three face down, blind.

  7. That's Kameno.

The Kameno stand at a freeride event

Where did Kameno come from?

On a training trip in New Zealand, Sam and Raff came up with Kameno. They were living in a cosy cottage with no Wi-fi or service and spent their downtime adapting and playing what is now Kameno.

They realised the benefits of being away from their screens and used the game as a tool to battle the ups and downs of life and being athletes. In a world surrounded by screens, distractions and technology, the boys being forced to get away from those opened up the opportunity to discover the importance of not being surrounded by them.
